Medical education and research
After graduating with full marks in Medicine and Surgery in 1999 at the University of Milan (Italy), I specialised in General Adult Psychiatry at the University of Verona (Italy) in 2005.
I hold a full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) since 2005 (Ref. No. 6123573), and I am on the Specialist register for Adult Psychiatry. I am a Specialist Associate with the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
I am a recognised by the GMC as a trainer for junior doctors. Many of the doctors I have taught over the years are now working as GPs or Consultant Psychiatrists in the NHS. I have regularly taught and examined medical students since 2006, within the University of Bristol, the University of Exeter (formerly Peninsula Medical School), and the University of Birmingham. I have ample experience in teaching other students, including nursing, occupational therapy and social work students.
During my career as a psychiatrists, prior to developing an interest in analytical psychotherapy, I conducted scientific research at various Universities and published a number of research papers.

but the human quality"
